Recommended Step 2 CK Study Material

Hello friends,

I am new to the step 2 forum. I took my step 1 few days back. Just wanted to know which all study materials I shoud go thru for step 2-is it the same- Kaplan CK Lecture Notes + FA for CK or something additional? actually have no one to guide in my college.
So someone plz help me out...

Yeah I know...its like wandering again which books to start with...and this took a whole lot of time in my step 1 so, don't want to waste much time for step 2.

Hey guys!
I took step 1 on 28th dec.Now iam wondering which books to use for ck prep.And whether to go for cs first.coz i heard cs pattern will change after may.can we complete both cs and ck by may.just wondering.any input or advise will be much appreciated.
So according to the link posted above its kaplan ck LN(with or without videos)+usmleworld+kap Qbank+MTB.
can we skip step up to step 2 or step up to medicine and usmle secrets .somebody who has already taken ck,help us here!!

Actually i don't have a very great feeling after my step 1...everyday m remembering my mistakes...but watever i'll get i'll accept...life has to move on anyways...so just praying god every day...wat bout u guys?

@priyanka-even i was also wondering about the same thing...but there's no much difference i guess...step 2 cs is going to be computerised...dats it.we have to type patient's notes..dats it.dats the news which m having...hope so we all will make upto it.

and what is MTB i hear it alot but i dont know what is it??

I too dont have great feeling about my exam.but we aint got any time to loose if we have to apply by this august.the changes i was talkin about its not regarding typing patient notes.they are changing the pattern from june .check the usmle bulletin.u can also check this link.Step 2 CS will change in May 2012

Mine was all graphs, stats and anat...So praying and waiting..if it turns out fine(hopefully) i have to give my ck by last week of april..so started ethics from yesrerday..How about u guys

I have not yet started anything...searching for books...m searching for mtb,it's not available in my city....wat bout u guys?did u buy all d books,have u guys got mtb?Please can someone tell me from where i can download kaplan's new edition book...

Hi..which city are u from? u can order it in flipkart in india..they have home delivery within 2 days..
I havent bought books, waiting for results..
