Default Match 2016 - will I get everything done ontime?

I am planning on applying to the match for 2016. I have previously sat and passed step 1 but I'm waiting for a date for step 2CK and CS. I can't book them yet because I need my form 345 to go through. I work full time as a doctor and I don't have alot of time to study. Is anyone else in this situation?

I also need to work on my personal statement, and hear back from my references. Everything is feeling a little overwhelming. Anyone have any tips?

I highly doubt we can. I am in the same situation as you. Mine seems to be a little better, I am done with ck and my cs is in a week. But we are supposed to be done with everything by September the 15th! I won't be done.

Hello guys,
I am in a similar situation. I am done with Step 1 and did CS last week (don't know if I passed).
I disagree with YSMU_grad_2013. Sure it's optimal to have everything ready by Sept 15, but technically you should be ECFMG certified by end of Jan or to be more strict by the application deadline of the program you are interested in. The deadlines varry between Oct to Dec.
So, yes it's hectic. And yes, if we don't have everything ready by sept 15, you'll lose some competetiveness. But I hope if I meet the deadlines to get interviews. Remember we only need one interview.
It's easy to give up and say it's not possible. But I'm going to push. No harm in trying.
Curious to know what specialities you are applying for?

I am pushing, I currently work for two different practices ( neuro and internal) and my resume already looks good, but I am highly unsure I am ready to sacrifice my high scores and nice resume for just 1 interview. We should have some to end up with a good position.
I am interested in internal med
