Default my feelings on CK today...

NBME2 : 235
NMBE 4: 248
UWSA: 254

did not have time for free 150s.

spend 3-4months. did UW 1 1/2 + uw notes + secrets + MTB2, 3

i had my ck exam today, and I have read on the forum that is has been vague and confusing, and although i did remember this and tried to tell myself before going into the exam, I really did not expect it to be THIS VAGUE. vague is an understatement. i felt pretty confident going in and there were atleast two answers for each questions, many WTF, only had time to go over the ones i skipped and lucky if i did the marks. I dont really have an issue with time, but when questions are as vague as the planet pluto they took more time, it cant be expected of us to do these weird ass quesitons in 60 minutes. one section i completely ran out and picked 3 answers blindly. I thought it was testing UW similar knowledge base and i can say that i feel 50 questions were from actually UW. if feels they have changed their question pool and no source is updated. easy peasy questions like intussception, Pyloric stenosis RF are no longer there. IDK. what is up with that exam. IDK if im craazy, but I would love to hear what anyone who recently took the exam thought.

- an upset and dumb founded CK taker.

I took Step 2 CK today and I had the same feeling. I think I failed.

My aim is to pass (IMG, graduated slightly more than 5 years)

I spent 2 weeks to prepare while having a full time job working 12 hours a day on weekdays (yes, it's 2 weeks).
I finished about 40% UWSA, 60%
Flipped through several pages of FA and MTB2 (read less than 30 pages)
I did all the NBMEs.
NBME 3 (2 weeks ago) - 210
UWSA 227 (1 week ago)
NBME 7 - 203 (3 days before test)
NBME 4 - 223 (2 days before test)
NBME 6 - 223 (1 day before test)

I took the test today. Just like what everyone says. The answers are vague. The questions are loooooooong. I had to rush through the last few questions in each block. And I think I fail, probably like what NBME 7 predicted.

I think I better re-apply Step 2 CK ASAP, hopefully still can manage to apply for the Match 2016.

I guess your self assessment test results already show that you passed. I took exam 2 months back & a horrible experience. I thought I was well prepared but the the exam day just shattered me, but since I didnt take NBME's or UWSA I had no idea where do i stand, I ended up failing with just 3 points at 206 but to be honest after the exam I felt I'll probably get like 170 or something for my poorest performance ever. So dont worry If u have done good on your self assesments you should be passing the test, the difficulty level is the same for everyone, so its not just you, everybody is getting same type of wierdo questions but towards the end its not your percentage its the percentile so trust yourself & trust in God, you will pass for sure!! All the best buddy!
