Default lengthy!!!! exhausting!!!

it was ok overall!! time management and patience is the key.. similar to uworld but tougher than uworld. many questions were like which book did they refer to before making such questons..too many confusing questions on OCD ..all looked same.. BIOSTATS not one straightforward question..it was my weak zone so may be i felt that way!! dermat and ophthal questions were direct image based no clues in the questions to get it right.. many concepts were asked in too much detail.. i studied kaplan notes , videos , mtb 2 , uworld.. these can make you pass the exam i guess.. rest which book and what qbank helps the most i ve no idea!! good luck guys !! if u ve it soon,, get over with it dont delay it.. coz the new concepts they are testing on might ve not reached the books yet!

Thumbs Up

i gave uwsa immediately after finishing uworld once in april , scored 214 & nbme 7 one month before exam 265.New trends in the questions i felt they were asked either in too much detail or a straight forward question. very few were like u ll get them in one read. like everyone is saying, many options look correct as the questions are framed that way, so the more questions u do the more its gonna help for the real exam. be thorough with the basics. I didnot find much similarities with nbme, real exam is no where like nbme.

Default Percentile equivalent

Hi,
I heard that the 99 percentile has changed since May 2015.
Any idea how much is the equivalent of 224 and 226 in step 2 ck.

Will appreciate any help,
Thanks!

Me also I just gave Step 2 CK and that was awful, especially time management and vague questions, totally I missed 15 questions (never looked) and I know surely that I answered wrong to around 10 questions. Questions are lengthy and sometimes confusing in a sense that vignette can describe symptoms which are typical for one disease but exhibit describes other... My UWSA was 255 10 days before...

Thanks a lot, but I am not confident with what I did. You know when you do questions over and over again you more or less become familiar with topics. But in real exam it is different especially when someone creaks the chair next to you by his/her TOEFL The topics are very much the same but the answer choices are similar each other and the time passes for definite selection between the narrowed last 2 choices...
