Default Will My USMLE scores be enough for IM interviews?

Hello everybody.

I am 4th year D.O. student and I needed to get some reassurance regarding about getting interviews. I recently submitted my apps back Tuesday and my USMLE step 1 and step 2 scores were 238 and 231 respectively. I am only applying towards ACGME allopathic programs. I have submitted 43 programs that have accepted D.O. students. Will my scores be enough to help me stay competitive for getting interviews? I don't have any red-flags in my med school career (e.g. failed system blocks/course works, failed shelf exams or a clerkship, etc.)

Thank you!

-TKDO

That's very good my friend. As a DO student you definitely have an advantage over IMGs even if your scores are less. Most IMGs with 250-260+ haven't gotten any interviews yet. I know you'll match easily. Good luck!
