Default Getting started

Hi
I just sat for my step 1 exam last week and decided to buy the materials to study for step 2.
I bought Kaplan LN 2016
Mtb2 and 3
I was wondering should the Kaplan videos be watched or are they a waste of time.
For step 2 is most of the studying just reading and q banks as opposed to step 1(videos).
I also would like to know how long should one invest in studying to take a read through these material?
Your input is really appreciated.
