Is it SMOKING CESSATION or CONTrol of hyperTENTION ??

aneurysm is atherosclerosis related so smoking cessation........

ok and if pt presents with any s/s including hypertention to ER...then is it MANAGEMENT OF HTN ?

Aortic aneurysm with hypertension to ER then manage hypertension as smoking cessation is prevention and long term management but controlling hypertension will be beneficial at the time of presentation...

Best step in management to the clx presentation i would say is Control HTA right away, if to prevention Smoking cesation....
