It is an online website that has the latest evidence on all subjects including, pathophysiology, diagnostic approach and management guidelines. Its something students/interns/residents/attending/professors all religiously use during clinics, wards, even ICUs to solve clinical conundrums. You will have to go to www.uptodate.com and buy a subscription to be able to view the evidence. You can use it for free if you are studying in any university hospital's library in America. It is by far the most widely accepted source of clinical medicine guidelines.

People use it for CK mostly for the management algorithms. Why? Because these keep changing and there is no better resource to study the latest guidelines from. U World is the second best at presenting the most accurate algorithms.

How to use it? The knowledge and content is very large and there is almost never enough time or point to go through all of it. Most people mostly review the "summary" part of each topic they are interested in.
