Unhappy FDA Pregnancy Categories?

I was trying to memorize the drugs in each of the FDA pregnancy categories A, B, C, D, and X.
But, then I gave up because they just don't make sense and am overwhelmed.
Can you please tell me if they are going to ask us about this

I don't think they are going to ask about it. Though I did not take the exam yet.

They are not gonna ask such things, trust me. I think that having some very specific examples in mind is important, though. Consider, among them, warfarin, ACE inhibitors, thalidomide, retinoic acid & isotretinoin, tetracyclines (& possibly quinolones), as general examples of drugs NOT to be prescribed under any circumastances during pregnancy. Also, consider some "safe to take" drugs, such as acetaminophen and beta-lactamic antibiotics.
