Default how i scored from 186 to 246

hi guys just a short experience .. might be it will help you .. sorry to write it so late ok lets just start ...
so i was graduated in 2013 finished my internship in 2014 may
time period studied from may 2014 to september 2015 ( studied off and on 3-4 hours)
so i started the CK prep with MTB 2 and usmle world Qbank book version offline first and then i annotated my MTB 2 .. and then i studied MTB2 3-4 times and then took NBME 6 in august 2014 .. scored 186 then studied MTB 2 again and did online UWORLD random and scored 72% overall and made notes again and now took NBME 3 .. got 196
so then i was tense after alot of studies still getting low NBMEs so i started MEDQUEST IM videos 2014 and did uworld marked this worked alot
then i studied all kaplan lecture notes and watched kcaw VIDEOS 2014 ( only fors obs gynae, paediatrics, surgery ,psychiatry , ethics )
and then took NBME 4 scored 214
so now what ?
again low score
OMG i was too exhausted .. what i did . left my all girlfriends .. turned off my phone ... .. left job .. it was around the march 2015
now what next ?
then studied uworld full from offline and did UWSA around may and scored 245 ...
now i was thinking NBME 4 214 and UWSA 245 ( so which one best ) then

i started kap Qbank random and scored 71% and
and completed in about two months
and then i did MTB 3 and kap lecture notes quick revision ( didnt pickup MTB2 coz it was on my finger tips )
i started looking on things : best next steps , differentials , etc more exaam oriented,,,
then i did KAP Q book then
NBME 6 again and this time 244
then after two weeks NBME 7 ( 223 )

OMG why so discrepancies in NBME etc ..
i took exam after 15 days of my NBME 7

exam was really hard .. i marked 18 Questions in every block .. took my first break after 2 blocks... alot of noise of generators in islamabad centre distracted me .. and student next to me was i think taking SAT test was reading question loud mumble.. i complain it .. then went to washroom and then 2 cups tee and then went back
did 2 blocks and took break and had 2 cups cofee
then took break again after 2 blocks and took redbull and this time i go straight all the blocks
i had 5 minutes of my break left .. but i though if i take break i will be late ... ( so i gave back 5 minutes to exam centre : take granted lolx)
but anyways it was fun taking exam and i enjoyed it .. so my problem was a bit nervous in exam and stems were way too long and ohh noise generators... and it was very long stem but was able to finish all blocks.. but made silly 10-15 mistakes cos of less time ...
i am a tea addict .. i think every student is ..
so the bottom line CK is big exam .. tooo long stems and they changed Qbank .. trust me or not.. only 30 percent of stuff was from Qbanks.. so i would say the best approach to CK is more and more MCQ coz they will tell you the best next step etc all approach .. and MedQuest and KCAW .. these are the things that raised my score..
i had practised almost like 8000 MCQs that raised my score to 245
but WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT THE DUCK
I GOT 230 in real exam ...
but still alhamdulillah happy with this ..
and the journey of CK is over now next is CS so lets see.
might be my experience is good or bad i dont know but my sincere advice is dont read text more n more do practise MCQ more.. ull learn more from MCQs rather than from books .. MCQ concepts retain more.. and also to add more RX Qbank is not so good..

now ill try to study hard for next exams thats the only way to save myself and its survival of the fittest thing ..
DARWIN theory fits in USMLE ...
anyways good luck ..
and in exam dont focus on nearby people dont focus on back noise.. and that headphone like noise blocker was so funny . i feel like a alien when i had it on my head but the bottom line is islamabad test takers plz ask them to put generators way too far from the centre so that their will be no noise or use silencers or something ..

i would love to see the new mean of august and september as i took exam on 23rd september .. so plz tell me when do they calculate new mean like after 6 months ? or ?

TAKE CARE GOODLUCK. EXAM IS DOABLE BUT ONLY IF YOU ARE SHARP AND QUICK . DONT JUST RELY ON UWORLD IT WAS ON MY FINGER TIPS. NEW EXAM POOL IS WAY TOO MORE THAN JUST UWORLD .. AS PER MY ADVICE.

Is that some type Q-bank I have never heard about - or just general umbrella term for "Just do questions as much as you can"

Neither UW nor Kaplan Qbank - single choice question, all of them MCQ - can you please specify?

Thanks
