Default timing of step 2 CK and CS

Hi, friends,

I just submit the application for step 2 CK on IWA, how long I have to wait to get the scheduling permit from e-mail?

If I want to take CS in August this year, should I submit the application now?

Soso

Your CK schedule permit will take about 2 weeks after they receive the online part. When you register for CS it will take one week to receive your permit and you will have one year to apply.
I applied or both tests on March 13. I received the CS permit yesterday and received another email stating that CK permit will be ready in one week.
good luck

you can choose any three month block at the time of applying, once you have your scheduling permit that block has already been chosen. You can, however, extend the eligibility period for a fee of 70 $.
For cs, please get your permit and book your date 3 months in advance, It is really difficult to get dates.
All the best!

I will give it at least 7 business days. Did you receive the email confirmation from ECFMG stating that you have committed the registration?

Don't worry. It will come soon.

Then you have to wait until the the process is done. if you have taken step 1 or 2 CK before it should be OK unless you need a visa to come to United States for taking the test. I don't have any experience on that. You can also call them and ask if there is a problem with your application. I would wait another week before I do that.
Hope you get your permit soon and good luck doctor!
