Question Why Heparin causes Hyperkalemia!

Hi all:

In Kaplan CK Lecture Notes, it says that heparin leads to hyperkalemia due to inhibition of aldosterone.

However, in MTB-CK it says heparin leads to hyperkalemia due to increased tissue release.

Which is right?

Thank you!

Heparin causes hypoaldosteronism and therefore hyperkalemia.
