Psyche Preoccupied with Celebrities!

A 45-year-old woman has a history of many years of reclusiveness and peculiar fantasies about the lives of media celebrities. She does not have a history of hallucinations, delusions, or disorganized behavior. She refuses to interact with other people. There is a history of schizophrenia in two uncles. She has had a trial of antipsychotic medication that decreased her preoccupation with celebrities, but she refused to continue taking it.
Which of the following is the most likely diagnosis?
(A) Avoidant personality disorder
(B) Obsessive-compulsive disorder
(C) Schizoid personality disorder
(D) Schizophrenia, residual type
(E) Schizotypal personality disorder

I would say "C" .... schizoid= loner
schizotypal= magical thinking
schizophrenia,residual =H/O hallucinations,delusions,disorganized thinking

All of these guys have family Hx of Schizophrenia

note: She refuses to interact with other people--> schizoid
She loves other people to approach her and interact with her--> avoidant personality disorder ( she is too shy to reach others )

NO it has to be D....

no reasonable DOC would prescribe her with triad of medicines without a disorder.

nxt, family history is highly suggestive

and she doesnt show any compulsive acts...so OCD cant be ans

It's not residual type schizophrenia bcoz no negative symptoms.
It must be Schizotypal because of odd eccentric thinking and social anxiety.
