Default Here is good review for Epidemiology/Biostats

There is a focused review for the Epidemiology/Bio-Stats section. The book also includes preventive medicine and ethics. The book is called:

USMLE STEP 2 CK Epidemiology In Your Pocket.
Its listed on Amazon.

Hope this helps.

I'm really sorry about that. There are a lot of good reviews. They say to review Biostats a few days before the exam to have it fresh in your mind. They keep increasing the amount of questions in this section on the exam.

i didnt take those epidemiology and biostats questions seriously on step 1 and definitely scored lower because of it. but for step 2 and 3 i prepared a lot for it and did very well.

my preparation included the biostatistics review for usmleworld and three books: high-yield biostatistics, epidemiology, and public health (fourth edition), behavioral science (sixth edition), and clinical biostatistics and epidemiology made ridiculously simple. of those sources, usmelworld is by far the best and maybe the only one that i would recommend. the ridiculously simple book is a quick read and has pretty good explanations, so it is also probably worth the time. the high-yield book is decent, but a lot of the material that it presents was not on my exam. as for the behavioral science book, it didnt not cover epidemiology or biostats in nearly significant enough depth to be useful.

if you have an android phone, you can check out an app that i helped make called EpiStats. it has free features such as a calculator, list of definitions and equations, and flash cards. the flash cards feature a punnet square with the equation beneath it. we are still working on the app to make it a better experience.
