Vascular Leriche Syndrome and Peripheral Arterial Disease?

Hi all:

Is Leriche syndrome part of peripheral artery disease?
So in order to diagnose Leriche syndrome, we still have to use ankle-brachial test first right?

leriche's syndrome is aortoiliac occlusion so i think its not peripheral artery disease. and according to link below angiography is done ..it is Most accurate test.
