Question Best initial, Most Accurate Test for Acromegaly?

In diagnosing acromegaly work up includes: Insulin like growth factor, fasting growth harmone level, glucose challange test...so which is best initial , most accurate, most confirming?

IGF-1 is best initial test.......significantly high levels mean acromegaly...... and confirmatory is glucose challenge test......acc. to KLN.!!!!

GH will be increased in fasting state in every normal person..because it is a stress hormone..
Glucose challenge test is the best test..After oral glucose load,normally GH decreases..if it fails to decrease then its acromegaly.
