Default Has anyone done kaplan and Rx Qbanks?

I am starting to study and i will be doing Uworld of course but i want to start a qbank before uw. Which qbank would you say is better between the two (Kaplan vs. Rx) and why....Any advice is much appreciated and i am sure many people will find this information very helpful

while studying for step 2ck, i did uworld step 2ck and step 3 qbanks and the subject review, kaplan 2ck qbank, usmle rx 2k, and part of usmle consult 2k.....

the only ones worth investing you time on are the uworld qbanks. my second favourite bank for step 2ck was actually the step 3 qbank from uworld.. theres a lot of overlap, which helps reinforce what you've learnt.... and theres enough new material to be worth it.

the high yield questions from rx are too easy... you will have seen them already or find that they were too obvious.

kaplan qbank increases its difficulty by testing little details that wont be on the boards (and even if one was.... no way it would be worth doing a whole qbank for it). but whats even worse is that the information sometimes conflicts with uworld. not too often, but when it does its terribly annoying.

usmle consult is one of the all time worst qbanks i have ever seen. its down there with score 95.

I never thought of that. Doing uw step 3. That sounds like an interesting idea. Between Kaplan and rx though....which would you choose?
