Question Neurogenic versus Vascular Erectile Dysfunction?

Hi all:

In Kaplan CK Lecture Notes Surgery Book it says that in case of CVA pelvic injury, the cause of erectile dysfuntion is due to vascular cause.

But in UW, it says that in this case the main reason is neurogenic.

Can someone please clarify when is arterial cause, venous cause, and neurogenic cause of erectile dysfunction?

Thank you!

Erectile dysfunction is a common sequel of pelvic fractures, particularly those associated with posterior urethral injury when it can be neurogenic or arteriogenic due to damage to the cavernous nerves or branches of the pudendal arteries.

Cycling can also cause ED as it cause pressure on a nerve that is below the penis and cause permanent ED.
