Smile Keep each other motivated- target end june/1st week july

Hey!
so i gave my step 1 a little while back.. and had immense support from the forum there.. and had alot of friends to study with.. basically the right environment.

Now with Step 2.. im facing a major road block which is the Lack of re-enforcement and people to study with... like just someone who is on the same page n doing the same thing.

so i decided to start this thread.. with the motive of starting a support system..
and to keep each other going.

(considering we all have our own days we are shine.. and then days we are not so high.. due to low scores/not achieving our target for the day etc etc)

i guess a good amount of people here are giving the CK around end June or July.

My contribution to the thread:--
1- what i plan on doing for the day
2- any difficult/important/ weird questions i came across during the day.. up for discussion.

Hope this seems like a good idea to others too and everyone contributes.

what im doing
1- MTB for medicine
2- Kaplan books for all other subjects.
3- kaplan qbank for this month
4- Uworld later (1-2months)

something to kick start ur day everyday

7 May 2012

plan for today---

1- do as much OBGYN as i can.. aim is to finish it.. but i know its a little far fetched to finish in one day. but will work to it nevertheless.

2- 90 to 100 questions in RANDOM TIMED MODE from Kaplan Qbank.
With going over the explanations.

Oh wow! so obgyn was more overwhelming than i thought!
took me a while but done with most of it

was doing questions from qbank and came across a few ones that i didnt get/confused even with the explanation.

will put them up.

also apologies.. cos i just realized that there is a similar thread up already. but since this one is created gonna stick to it.

is there anyone out there doing kaplan qbank too?

i finished my first read of most kaplan stuff. but not all.
started with q bank.

did about 8-9 blocks of questions already... started with a 70% and then eventually went down n stabilized at a 65%.

did my first block of questions today n got just a 45%~!!
n most of it was minute details in the questions stem that i overlooked or where 2 options made the same sense to me!
so demotivating to hv ur first block in the day go so low!!!!
