Most use MTB3 for OB/GYN, Peds and other sections aside from IM .. I did not like the way info was introduced in MTB3 for those sections so i'm using Uworld and uptodate to supplement other sections .. MTB2 peds section is ok , the others are very poorly written with a lot info that is missing.

MTB2 for IM .. MTB3 for all other sections, not my personal choice but that is what is recommended by most people around here .

I'm solid in IM so MTB2 was enough for me as a quick review . I needed better resources for Peds and ObGyn so MTB3 was very superficial for me . I just finished Kaplan notes for OBGYN and i really liked them . Ped's is still a tough one for me to figure out, have yet to find a resource that clicks well with me .

How did you not like the presentation of info in MTB3? Are you noticing any major errors with usmle world in next step management in the MTB 2 & 3?

Does anyone know how fast you can read MTB 2 and MTB 3? I don't know why Dr. Fischer puts in the cover that MTB 2 is the only book you need and then we need all this other material I have not used the books yet and wonder if it will help in passing.

Have you looked at First Aid for CK and have any comment to it?
