Info To all CK test takers, Information about CK Resources

I am New to CK prep.... Kindly answer the following questions:sorry::sorry::sorry::sorry:

1. What is MTB? Is it different from Kaplan books? (the books they give when you enroll for kaplan ck course).

2. How many MTBs are there? Is it available for each subject (IM, Ped,etc)?

3. Is there any other material I should purchase?

4. I am planning to buy kaplan & Uworld q bank. Is there any other qbank that you suggest?

Please kindly reply who are currently preparing for CK or taken their CK exam

Thanks!!

Yes. There are MTBs for Internal medicine and Peds but they are not geared toward CK prep, they are designed for residents preparing for the specialty board exam.

You can find subject-specific CK books in our USMLE Books page (linked from the tabs in the upper part of every page of this website).
