Stats Framingham Heart Study 10 Year Risk Prediction versus ATPIII Guidelines

I recently learned the ATPIII table for treating high LDL, now this Framingham Heart Study is confusing me.
Are we supposed to learn how to calculate the 10 year risk and how does this relate to the ATPIII information.
This is costing me some valuable marks in uworld.

Thanks
