Default step 2 before step 1

what step 1 material is necessary to go through for step 2, in case your basic knowledge is not so concrete?

I am studying for step 2 right now. I couldnt imagine doing step 2 before step 1. The info from just step 1 alone is helping me sooooo much. i advise you to do step 1 first.

A lot of people do step 2 before step 1. But you need to have a strong knowledge base for that as a good portion of step 2 is based on the fact that you understand the pathophysiology before proceeding to diagnosis and treatment. Path, pharm and physio are the big ones you should have a decent grip on. Behav and biostats is covered in psy and ethics portion of step 2 so that good. If you have the time, I would recommend that you watch pathoma videos and Lionel Raymons pharm videos before you directly jump into step2. If you don't have the time or have a good basic science background you can directly start step 2 material.

should i revise physiology as well?
