Pancreas Pancreatitis Pleural Effusion; Transudative or Exudative?

I just read in Kaplan CK lecture notes that pleural effusion is transudative in pancreatitis.
but if it is due to SIRS i-e systemic inflammatory response syndrome then it has to be exudative?

Any comments.

It should be Exudative ......as its not due to imbalance of starling pressures......
