Default How to answer best next step in management? Inital, most accurate,Rx?

Hello everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has a sysstem for knowing how to answer the most appropriate next step in management. In some situations for example eg. If there is a delay with diagnosis (ct has to ve performed for meningitis die to increased ICP) the treatment would be more appropriate. This also applies when the diagnosis is clear. Otherwise, how do you gauge whether a diagnostic test or treatment should be offered first if they are both options, and do many questions in the exam have both treatment and diagnosis options? If it were strictly diagnosis options, I'd assume we'd go for the "best inital test" first?

Looking forward to any light you guys can shed on the matter

i cant understand your question, but you dont need advice.UW will clarify you on any scenario and you will be prepared if you go through it several times.

the only thing i can say is know the

least aggressive ,less expensive is always the best....

always remember sequence history,examination,investigations,treatment.

resuscitation, ABC always comes first before intervention.

and lastly no intervention is always almost the best in exams....

i had 30% of my exams on such basics.....
