1- postpone! dont go into it unless you are sure you are giving it your best!
2- DO uworld.. atleast for a month
3- if scores arent coming up try doing the DIT lectures..even if its just audio.

what books are you referring to for each subject? what are your weak areas? please elaborate.

Try a NBME and plan accordingly

52% in Kaplan Q Bank is actually good score but to be sure do couple of NBME (1,2,3,4) and UWSA and find out for sure how much you are getting as they closely resemble the real score.

Wink NBME already done :(

Sorry with all this stress I forgot to mention that before kaplan Qbanks I did NBME QBanks and bc I was having good scores I decide to start with kaplan. So my plan now is to do some QBanks of epidemiology bc kaplan do not have many questions and then I will do NBME SA.
IF any body already passed CK pls let me know if that is a good Idea.

THANKS!

What about UW? Have you done it? What's your average score?

In that case you should postpone.
What score are you aiming for?

hi novobiocin, sorry to butt into the conversation but is an average of 60%not a good basis on which to take the test?
what do you think of dropping nbme scores: 260 in 1 and 246 in 4 2 weeks apart? thanks

The more questions you do the more accurately a test can predict a score.....nothing new just a general statistical rule.
So, an over 2000 questions (UW Q Bank) can predict your score much better than any single test simply because you have been tested in all possible areas and it is simply not possible to test anyone in about 350 questions.
However, more NBME's you do the better picture you get.The difference of 12 points hardly has any statistical significance but if I can get score like those I will appear for the test tomorrow! If you want to be be sure then try another NBME and/or UWSA but honestly you are good to go with those scores.

Which NBME did you take ?
Anyway, 310 equates to 186 USMLE score which is close to passing score of 189.
It all depends what score you are aiming for but if I was in your shoes I will not risk it since it will be too close for my comfort and there is nothing worse than failing a step.
I think your NBME score is on par with your UW percentage.
Again, it depends on what score you are aiming for but I will postpone the exams for another 2-3 months and read some more/practice more questions.
Use the rest of the NBMEs to assess yourself every month to see where you stand.

If you are aiming for 230 then it is possible since you have already done Kaplan but you do not have much room to maneuver (9 days left).

My best advice will be to do UWSA and NBME 4 with extended feedback and decide.
