USMLE Books Subjects from KLN and MTB?

I'm studying from Kaplan CK notes and MTB-CK.
But I heard that MTB is not that good in ob/gyn and surgery.
I'll be fine with just KN for those areas?
also are this two books good for peds?
I read the poll for peds books but didn't see any comments and MTB score is bad...
Any advice will be highly appreciated!

Thanks!!
