Default what gift to accept..ethics question..EXPLN !

You have been invited to participate in a "Medical jeopardy" game sponsored by a
pharmaceutical manufacturer. The winners arc to receive $100 gift certificates to the
medical school's bookstore. All of the participants arc to receive a stethoscope. The
audience and all the participants arc offered a free meal.
Which of the following is most appropriate to accept?
a. All the gifts.
b. Only the meal.
c. Only the stethoscope.
d. The meal and stethoscope, but not the gift certificate.
e. None of the gifts are acceptable.

all the gifts are acceptable, you can only receive small tokens or anything related to your medical care that is relatively cheap (a stethoscope is good) and the certificate is for medical education only, also a free meal which is relatively cheap can also be accepted

Are you guys being serious or joking? I can't tell since I'm stressed out and being very dry right now. But (E) seems to be the only acceptable answer.

Probably because you are stressed you dont see the reason.

Small tokens are always acceptable, also small meals, the gift certificate is for a medical bookstore, which will increase medical knowledge in a relatively cheap way, so all the gifts can be taken.

as a rule of thumb, gifts of less than 100 dollars can be taken.

Tickets for games, theater or table dances are not acceptable under any circumstance
