Syringe DTaP vaccine and contraindication for next use ?

DTaP vaccine and contraindication for next use ?

child was given DTaP vaccine. that time he cried for > 3 hours and had fever >105F . will you give booster dose this time ?

very confusing. I know that seizure or anaphylaxis is CI to further DTaP use.

I don't think crying or fever is a CI. It was probably just a febrile reaction to known unknown or unknown knowns

Kaplan Peds guy said if patient presents with Fever >105 F, do not give as its considered a serious reaction. It can be given subsequently at a later date.
