EKG How to manage unresponsive AF Patient!

Patient comes with sudden onset dyspnea, Palpitation. found to have Atrial Fibrillation on EKG, while starting IV line,
patient becomes unresponsive. Cardiac monitor shows patient is still in AF. What to do?


1: Start chest compression
2: Synchronous Cardioversion
3: Asynchronous Cardioversion
4: Immediate ABG

I think it is similar to witnessed PEA but you have the EKG monitor, so Synchronous Cardioversion

As AF is not a shockable rhythm. Only VT /VF are shockable rhythms in PEA

yup thats the answer. how you recognized its PEA ? is being unresponsive and being pulseless same thing ?
