There are people who have done it.but i wouldn't recommend it considering usmle is focusing on basic sciences even in step 2ck and step 3.i had questions that i wouldnt have answered without step 1 knowledge.just my 2 cents.all the best.

the only way to get your desired score is start preparing for whatever exam you choose first and take NBME exams to assess yourself and then decide how long to get to your desired score.
nobody can tell you how long to get 250.i have seen people taking over a year and score in 220 range and some who study for 4 months and end up with 260.all depends on how well you use your study material and the depth of your basic knowledge.

You can do it and probably you can also score high. But having taken step 1 first really makes step 2 CK easier, a lot of the questions you can get them right just based on info from step 1, I took them in order and would recommend doing so. Best of luck

I would recommend giving Step 1 before Step 2....They often ask Step 1 questions in Step 2...usually not the other way around. Also if your basic science subjects are strong, your step 2 preparation becomes really easy.

There are people who have done it, you can do it but clearing step 1 first is much better. Goodluck.
