Unhappy Best Diagnostic Test, Best Treatment Choice!

I started studying a month ago for Step 2 CK I am using Step Up to Step 2. I am also using the Kaplan CK Qbank to prep.

I have been running into issues where a question will describe a problem ask for the management and the answer choices will reflect both the gold standard diagnostic and the drug of choice for treatment. This is infuriating!

Does anyone have any ideas clues or methods with regard to these question types?

Thanks,

~Jones

+1. For every disease, that book tells you "the most appropriate next step", "the best initial diagnostic test", "the most accurate diagnostic test", etc.
