Also remember that first step in management when giving TNF alpha inhibitors is to perform a PPD (Step 2 wannabe question) haha

When I start losing focus I do a lot of questions (random, timed mode). That helps to keep me focused and also to find out gaps in my knowledge. Since it is timed I don't have any tme for thoughts (negative or otherwise).
My strategy is simple, find the hole (by doing questions) and plug the hole (by doing focused reading). I never read any book cover to cover since I believe it is a waste of time. I just read the topic which I am not clear about after doing the questions.

When I do get negative thoughts, I look back at the last time I did well on an exam and that keeps me going. Remember , this is just another exam like the last one (where you did well).

P.S. hole=gaps in knowledge
