Question Dysphagia Investigation; Barium or Endoscopy!

i am getting very confused regarding this....

its clear when patient has dysphagia to liquids and solids or when it is very severe...ans would be to do barium to get road map for scope.

what would be ans if patient has just mild dysphagia to solids ? scope or barium ?

It all depends on the symptoms, if pt. has difficulty initiating swallowing, associated droolling all are suggestive of oropharyngeal dysphagia which require barium studies.
If dysphagia occur several sconds after swallowing and occur with solids suggest esoghageal dysphagia(may be obstructive) which require scope
