Liver Primary Biliary Cirrhosis Confirmatory Test

what is confirmatory test in PBC ? Are Anti mitochondrial antibodies confirmatory ? or we need biopsy ?

Antimitochondrial antibodies are more than 90% sensitive & 98& specifici for PBC, but to confirm we need a biopsy
