Kidney Most accurate test for PSGN

Is it anti-DNAase or Renal Bx to show IgG and C3 deposits?

Please answer.

Definative test is renal bx. But I may be wrong

Most accurate test for PSGN------> Renal Biopsy (according to MTB 3 Page 235). However, it is rarely done since Blood tests are sufficient for the diagnosis.

The point is " most definitive test for PSGN" and not what is sufficient . If the question was next line of investigation then anti DNAase would work. In clinical scenario there is no black and white it's usually gray that's why we have indications for renal bx in nephrotic syn

Best is usually the most invasive, so i'd say Biopsy too..
