Cool Step 2 CK score of 252/85.. How u can do it..!

Hi guys, I must first thank all the forum moderators (for helping us out) and the members (for asking relevant question )

Something about me:
I am an IMG with an extremely average medical school performance.. No research. 3 months USCE.. Basically the story of most IMG applicants this match season!

Step 1 score - 250/87
Step 2 CS- Pass, first attempt

Prep time: 2 months (spent significant study time in trying to get internship completion in time)

Books I used:
1) Kaplan CK Notes - read once (tried to read second time later but found them not useful for quick review)
2) MTB Step 2 CK (Did not know how good the book was till I read the poll on this site 1 month prior to exam)- read almost 3 times
3) First Aid Q&A - Found somewhat useful

Qbanks used:
Uworld- Once and did marked questions once

Exams I gave:
Only UWSA- 260
No NBMEs

Days before the exam:
Read my notes from Uworld and First Aid Q&A
My exam date kept getting revised and pre-poned till I was left with only 2 months study time.

On the day of the Exam:
Reached early. Had no one else giving USMLE (no distractions, trust me!!)

Managing Breaks:
I made it a point to take a break after each block (and yes you can continue to sit at your place without needing to get out every time). Found 3rd and 4th block most difficult, after which I got out and washed my face to clear out my mind.
I think managing breaks correctly is as important, as you tend to get spaced out later. Remember to delay the lunch break (usually takes 15-20 mins) as much as possible so that it does not consume all your break time.

Block difficulty:
Slightly more difficult than Uworld and UWSA (the only things I can review). Remember that blocks are not equally difficult during your exam, so don't get freaked out if one of them brings the scourge of hell..!

On the day of the results:
My classmates had scored more than me (curse them!!). But in the end we all are happy and I could not have expected a better score with 2 months prep time..

Thank you all for patiently reading through my banter.. Hope it helps those who need it the most.

congratulations!! Amazing score!!! that too with only 2 months of studying. amazing.

I just finished step and, about to start CK prep and I have some questions:
Did you watch the Kaplan Lecture Videos? Do you recommend them?

Did you use MTB 2 only or MTB 3 as well? Some people say we should do IM from MTB2 and the rest from MTB3. Please give your advice on that.

Thanks in advance
