Heart Squatting and Mitral Regurgitation?

What is the effect of squatting on mitral regurgitation?
*In MTB = increase murmur
*In Kaplan Qbank = no effect

logical thinking, squatting increase venous return to the heart and subsequently will increase the turbulence across the regurgitant valves, which make the murmer worse.

lol Kaplan Qbank is wrong on so many levels

Essentially you have to think it like this

In regurgitating murmurs, by squatting you increase the venous return to the heart and therefore as more blood flows through the heart the murmur will be accentuated.. therefore IT WILL BE INCREASED

In a nutshell, squatting increases venous return. Since MR is a valvular disease with fluid overload, if there is more volume going through the heart, the murmur will increase.
