Default CK vs Step 1!

Hi guys
is it just me or is anyone else finding ck studying more enjoyable than step 1? its also alot more interesting. Step 1 is more about memorization but with ck its about ddx's and workups and putting all the pieces together and the stuff u learned from step 1. I guess it is all downhill after step 1 but ck is still a monster exam that should be taken seriously too!
happy studying everyone!

I agree... It's more interesting. However, I still often find myself staring blankly at the computer, surfing the internet, or just wasting my time. I'm not progressing as fast as I had hoped. There is something wrong with me I think. lol!

I agree. Finally I feel like a doctor reading CK stuff. But I'm being lazy more with ck than step 1. That's not good and I need to take this exam with the same seriousness as the MONSTER PART 1. Gl to all of us. Remember guys next year by this time we are in the application process, man can't wait that day.

Default CK vs step 1

Maybe it's just me, but..even if CK prep was more enjoyable, I studied and prepared well.felt I had a good study routine after step 1. anyways..I felt that my CK was waaay harder than step 1. I've always felt that Kaplan videos, FA and UWorld were good indicators on what to focus on for the exams. However not close to the difficulty level on the actual CK test.

Everyone was telling me that CK was easier, but in my case, that couldn't have been further from the truth..

Hi,
The step 2 preparation is going fast compared to step1.I am able to complete each of the KLN subjects in almost a week except IM .But i think still we should not be complacent & reduce the guard ,as this exam is more trickier than step 1 & not as straightforward as step 1.
Revision is the key.The real prep ll come once we start doing UW & kaplan q bank questions in timed mode.I learnt from various posts that time management will be a crucial component in this step & we should tune ourselves to lengthy qs right from the beginning.Best wishes for all of you in the same boat !!!!
