USMLE Books Is MTB absolute MUST for CK?

Hi,

Do we have to do MTB or we can skip it

Right now I am sticking to Kaplan CK Notes and UW

and this MTB 2 and MTB 3 thing is really confusing me

so if I want to get a good score do we really have to do it?

MTB is a good resource for the exam .can i skip it ? is a very subjective Question .If your basics are very good and u can get percentages in Uworld in 70+ then ofcourse u can skip it .but again if u do MTB it will be beneficial .Choice is yours buddy

In your exam prep, you need 1 (one) book that you will use in your last weeks, that will have all your notes, tips and more, you can't do that in the kaplan notes, they are too much.

Consider mtb 2 and 3 like your first aid for step 1.
Would you go write your step 1 without using fa,it s the same.
If you combine mtb plus uw= good to go.
