Unhappy Failed the CK despite passing NBME assessments!

I got my step 2ck result today. I am still in shock. I failed with 195/74. The reason why it's such a huge surprise is Cuz of self assessments. Nbme 4: 218 10 days before exam (my goal was 20+). Uwsa 223 one month before exam. Nbme 2 205 almost 2 months before. I am so confused what went wrong. I think I should go for recheck but I've heard they usually show no change. Any advice what to do?

I am really sorry to read this. My self assessments were also better. I ended up with a 205

NBME 2 ------- 232 (17 days out)
UWSA ------- 206 (5 days out)
NBME 4 ------- 221 (2 days out) missed 38

Please take the day off, actually you'll need to take the next few days off to refocus, right now too much will be running through your mind. Been there with Step 1.

I am really sorry to hear about your disappointment. Pick yourself back up and focus on your weaknesses according to your score report. Alot of us including me have been there. I failed Step 1 the first time by a point and felt it better to have failed by 10.

Hang in there. All the best

Yup. My exam was OB heavy (after IM)and that was my weakest subject, and I basically failed OB on the exam all the way to the left, if I had done half way decent on OB I prob would have had a 220+

Exact the same thing happened to me! I never liked OBGYN, but thought the questions were easy for that, but no! My OBGYN was all the way to the left!.... I ended up having 209, couldve been better, if OBGYN didnt strike me that hard!
