I would go with
(E) Tendonitis and tendon rupture
As it is typical to fluroquinolones
And as I remember due to this side effect they are contra indicated in preg women and children.

Even though tentonitis is specific for Ciprofloxacin..I think most common side effect is gastritis which we all feel...

Well exclusive side effect is definetely E, they also screw up cartilage development thats why besides the achilles tendon rupture they are contraindicated in children.

GI symtoms are the adverse reaction of virtually any drug that exists, NSAIDS, digoxin, macrolides, oral penicillins and so on so i would pick E

Correct answer is B.....
Up to 17% of patients
taking fl uoroquinolones experience some degree
of gastrointestinal upset.
Answer A is incorrect. Allergic reactions, including
rash occur in <2% of patients taking
fl uoroquinolones.
Answer C is incorrect. Neurologic manifestations
such as mild headache and dizziness are
the second most common adverse reaction of
patients taking fl uoroquinolones, affecting up
to 11% of patients.
Answer D is incorrect. QT prolongation is
also a rare complication of treatment and very
uncommonly leads to ventricular arrhythmias.
Answer E is incorrect. Tendonitis and Achilles
tendon rupture are exceedingly rare in patients
taking fl uoroquinolones but have increased incidence
in children and pregnant women.
