stuck between A and D

would go with Rationalization.. if it was Projection, nurse would have told "pt hates me" in fact it would be other way around.. waiting for ans

the answer is projection i guess coz the harassed overworked nurse herself wants to be left alone

yup the answer is D.............i remem having come across this question while doing uworld during my step 1 prep...the nurse is pissed and puts her feelings into our grandma

Answer is D.

The nurse is projecting her wishes by stating that the patient wants to be left alone, when in reality it is she wants to be left alone.

Rationalization is making excuses for your behavior. Had been the answer , she would have made excuses , such as she is too busy.
