A 19 year old women is hospitalized for dehydration caused by severe, laxative induced diarrhoea. She is depressed about the recent breakup of a romantic relationship.She is depressed about the recent breakup of a romantic relationship.She admits that she uses laxative because she has been binge eating frequently and is worried about gaining weight. Although the women is thin,She believes that she is oveweight. She never has a menses .

Yes anorexia nervosa..

Even if there is binging and purging in this case this patient has low body weight , distorted body image , fear of obesity and amenorrhoea all strongly suggest anorexia nervosa...
