hello everybody; I did my step 2 exam 4 on June and got a 3 digit score of 248, but my 2 digit score was 84%, I previosly knew that everything above 235 equels 99%, so why did I get such a low percentage despite my high 3 digit score?

REALLY?? ARE YOU SERIOUS 235 is not 99 "PERCENTAGE"?? I thought 10 years back a score of 220 and above was 99 percenTILE!?!:sleepy::sleepy:
Keep yourself better informed. It's important you atleast know about the exam you are preparing for.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
The program directors dont like ignorant people.
I dont mean to be rude to you, just thought you should know.

Good score though, CONGRATS:):)

Most of us here are IMGs. The scoring system was changed over a year ago. We find it funny that some of the those preparing for USMLE dont know about it yet, especially after it has already been discussed here many times. It was on usmle.org as well.

There should be a penalization or something because these stupid ignorant questions cannot continue when this information is now considered OLD instead of NEW.

seriously some people ignorance is way to great.

And besides why come and ask here, learn to solve things by yourself instead of wanting everything the easy way... jeez sometimes these people get on my nerves:mad:
