No my friend they do have different features.

For instance, a panic disorder/attack is sudden, appears out of nowhere and has a lot of autonomic symptoms + feelings of impending doom, it is associated with agoraphobia and the casewill describe something like "23year old female comes in with a history of palpitations and fear that happened suddenly when she was in the subway/mall/teather/stadium, she also states that she fears places where getting to safety would be diffucult or impossible"

Social phobia must specifically be triggered by situations with people, most of the time it happens when you are going to a party or a meeting, it does have some autonomic features. But they appear gradually and there isnt a sense of impending doom, more like a gradual increase in fear, the case most often will describe an executive/worker which job is getting lousy because he/she cannot speak in meetings or freezes.

If you have seen the big bang theory, the indian dude which is afraid of only women, think about that presentation but instead of only women it will be in any social event.

Also remember, the treatment of
Panic attack is Alprazolam (due to immediate onset of action)
Panic disorder is SSRI (long term treatment since it takes longer)

Treatment of Social Phobia is CBT

Performance anxiety >>>Propranolol
