Smoking cessation is the most accurate and best preventive measure for AAA
HTN control is the best preventive measure for THORACIC AORTIC ANEURYSM

HTN control is also the best for prevention and the first step of management in case of aortic dissection

Yup, however to lower the BP when an aortic dissection is already ocurring you have to do it in an unique way.

First give a BB to decrease the inotropic shearing forces of the heart and then give nitroprusside to vasodilate
If you give a vasodilator first you can actually worsen the dissection because the heart will compensate with tachycardia and inotropism
