Listening active vaginal bleeding mx

just to make sure we are in same boat

treatment for

active vaginal bleeding = Progesterone
active vaginal bleeding + unstable vital signs [ incl orthostatic] or Hb<9 = IV Estrogen
active vaginal bleeding + unstable vital signs [ incl orthostatic] or Hb<9 + crashing patient = D&C


thoughts ?

thoughts ?
After a Pregnancy test
Sounds about right but it depends on age.
However, Desmopressin if von Willebrand's disease or Hemophilia not ruled out.
Hysteroscopy if you suspect a uterine polyp or any other uterine pathology.
Hysterectomy or endometrial ablation if all else fails.
