Listening Doing UWorld in the middle of first read

Hello Friends,

I am studying medicine, and I just want to know that for u world is it wise to do after 4 or 5 chapters like GIT, rheumatology, preventive med, endo, there are respective questions of these chapters in uworld, rather to do them altogether after finishing the whole medicine, I am doing u world first time

So plz suggest me

You need to do Uworld twice. 1st do it with your reading, subject wise, tutor mode. Then when you are done with it once, RESET it and do it again in timed, random.

That's my advice. See what works best for you All the best with your prep buddy

Thanks salman ! Need all the best wishes I can get. Have the exam tomorrow. I didn't get the chance to completely finish Uworld, so didn't want you to make the same mistake. Tc.

When you did subject wise, do you do the entire internal medicine section at once or divide them by subspecialty???

The other main divisions can't be broken really like internal medcine.

Default Divide them

What I think ,to divide them subspecialty wise is good idea,I mean don't do them each subspecialty but do it like 4 or 5'and then do u world accordingly,I will start it tomorrow morning lets c will it work or not,,,if not then I will finish whole IM,but u r rite,it's just IM,which can be subdivided, but it's necessary also, becz it's IM,which has more than1300 q in uworld

yeah i don't know how it will be with just subjects... i am half through my membership on uw and just set it up as mixed mode and tutor with no time limit. i only bought a 1 month subscription so i guess i can buy another one later and do it that way... still would like feedback on the subject mode experience.

Cool, do they go over the basic stats from back from step 1 related stuff too? Any additional abstract/drug ad practice?

Basically I did both kaplanqbank and also u world, and I found uworld more productive, almost same step1 material, but the thing which is diff from step 1 ,is more depth in psychiatric questions regarding management, like uworld wants u to know more about atypical antipsychotics as compared to step 1'few more psychiatric disorders, but if u will ask me about biostat,it's same, but few drug add questions, which were really new thing, and I did spend time to understand what it wants me to know,so it's my exp uptill now
