Default Alright I guess I should start studying for CK...

after about 3 months into clinical rotations, about 4 month after step 1, i guess I should start studying.

started reading MTB, read the cardio section, then skimmed through the FA cardio section.
bought UW 2 days ago, have done 30 questions, my score is like 36% or something ridiculous like that lol
but I'm not too worried since atleast I understand what they're saying and what they're asking, i just simply don't know the answer. I remember when i first started UW for step1, i didnt even know what they were saying, it was as if the question was in chinese or some foreign language.

my plan is to read MTB, review the chapter with FA, and then do UW questions, working slowly through each system.
I've done cardio, starting pulmonary now.

MTB and FA don't seem to have that much info in them tbh, I'm thinking the best learning tool will be UW.

anyways, i'm in internal medicine right now so thats my focus as i explore these systems. I've heard MTB isn't enough for some disciplines like peds or gyn or something, so when i get to those i'll look into other books.

i'm studying very casually, maybe an hr a day lol

any tips?
anybody else out there just starting?

i'll gradually increase the hours i put in.

I'm too much of a coward to dig into UW right away.

Here's my current plan
How to prepare for CK after finishing Step 1

Good seeing you back!
